Extendable leads We have all heard the horror stories of what these leads can do. They are, quite simply, dangerous to use. Extendable or retractable leads are often used to walk dogs of all sizes and breeds. Quite apart from the danger and damage they can do to the human handler, they are also not good for the dog. Dogs have been known to lunge into the road and owners are too slow to prevent this The lead breaks – the materials used for these leads are not strong enough to hold many strong dogs that pull. Social Walks starting Sunday 18th September 2016

Do you have a well behaved dog and want to walk with other well behaved dogs? From September we will be organising a social walk on a Sunday afternoon, once a month. Dogs who attend must be good with other dogs. The idea of the social walk is to allow practice of social skills, meeting and greeting other dogs/people, teach recall with distraction etc. This is not a teaching class although I will be on hand for any training questions.
